Hehe yeah you're right. Specially since I live far from school, staying in dorms isn't something typical we do here so we go home afterwards. I know what you mean about the the applicable subjects, I kinda find most of my subjects useless xD And I hate numbers so I hate anything with them lol. I like the idea of teaching myself too, I think it's more beneficial since you're doing it the way you want and you'll actually be excited about it.
That does sound really tiring.
